We livestream our worship services whenever available. Waterford UCC wants to make itself accessible, even when people can’t be with us personally.
Maybe you’d like to take advantage of our livestream. But, it sounds a little exotic. So, you have questions.
Fortunately, we have answers. Here are some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about livestreaming.
What is a livestream?
When you click on a livestream link, you will see the video player. If you have arrived early, you may see a “countdown” for when the livestream will start. When we start sending video, it will start on your device automatically.
And if I want to watch the livestream later?
That’s easy. If you want to see the most recent version, it is at our Web site: waterforducc.com. You can see any of our earlier worship gatherings at our YouTube Channel. Click on the word “Worship” to see the full list.
Why do you livestream your worship gathering?
Waterford UCC believes that our livestream service helps open our congregation’s doors to our community. Some people are unable to come to church. Sunday work schedules interfere with our best intentions. Abilities may keep others housebound. Some folks just can’t sit through an hour in a public gathering. Others may want to see what they’re getting into.
We take radical welcome seriously. When we say, “No matter who you are, no matter where you are on life’s journey, you’re welcome here,” we mean it. If you aren’t able to be here in person, we invite you to watch us on YouTube.
